From the looks of it, this ep just showed that Ruli and Angoramon aren't that closely bonded yet, which probably explains why they're late to unlock evolution since they still need to work things out with one another.
This also means Kyoshiro and Jellymon's relationship skyrocketed a lot in just 5 episodes despite being introduced late.

I mean, one side's thirsty for the other

Reminded me of that Pokémon episode where it was shown Brock's croagunk (who was just recently caught and was the new running gag of hitting brock when trying to flirt on girls) liked him as much as Pikachu and Ash.

Disappointed that we didn't get an Angoramon digivolution this week.... Also a little peeved. That fight looked way better than the one TeslaJellymon got last week. Why would that one not get the better treatment while this one gets lesser?

Okay, whining aside, fun episode. No real indication of a wider plot, but I'd be VERY surprised if that little enclave of Digimon just living their lives in the human world doesn't come back later on.

Yeah, no Angoramon digivolution. I guess they both need to bond more.

Next episode is another Kiyoshiro episode. Hope we see TeslaJellymon again.

I think it's become an interesting gimmick for Angoramon.

They really invested some of the animation budget on that one fight scene. Out of the 3, Angoramon is deffo my fave. so big, bouncy and soft. haha.
Wanna hug too. Also, with how close Reppamon was slicing at those people, its amazing how none of them were wounded in anyway. Possibly it was because the main body intervened.

i thoroughly enjoy this series. im disappointed angoramon didnt evolve but i mean hes not that close with Ruli yet so it makes sense. on a side note. idk how much longer they can keep up with this series. theyre doing chain mail next week. whats next scam phone calls? cursed video tape? illegal pirating? idk how much they can milk the whole digital ghost thing without any real plot advancing but i hope they at least give some foreshadowing soon

i mean, the divine wind phenomena and the birds can make it so the paranormal stuff isn't even related to electronics
there could be a cockroach digimon or a rat digimon, or a vampire digimon. or maybe others like "have sirenmon come back and help them deal with a nother musical digimon whose music hypnotizes people"

I really Feelt that one and feel bad for hiro

He always getting used for his kindness and always helps
out everyone without hesitation

I think its because Hiro also lets himself be easily led around to do jobs for people. lol.
People even point this out and he is okay with it. Plus Ruli seems pretty impulsive so maybe she just got used to it, especially since Hiro doesn't complain or say he doesnt like it.

Loved this episode! I really like when they do more interations between the kids and their digimons! They really talking with eachother. The fight was prettyr good too. some cool animation there.

lol its funny how Angoramon fight was much better animated then Jellymon which is kinda sad T^T they better redeem themselves later on, Ruti calling Hiro to vent and just leave was kinda funny, tho she really should appreciate him better, we knew Angoramon already was on his way to save her but when she called Hiro to come help her without hesitation he took off to her location and is always willing to listen and help her out. like everyone else said I'm also disappoint Angoramon didn't Digi-evolve but we also learned they really haven't developed a close enough bond yet, I'm sure when they do will get his Digi-evolution

Today episode is like Ruki and Renamon they still hard to understand each other.

This episode was alright.
I wondered how they could incorporate Angoramon's evolution into the setting and I guess it was too much so they didn't. This better lead to a better setting for the evolution.

My only complaint is how none of the two nor their partners thought of activating the digital field/zone.

I feel like this is a stepping stone for Ruli and Angoramon's feelings to become closer to synchronizing better. and I guess the digital field/zone wasn't too important cause it wasn't a very crowded public area. And bamboo can grow back, but certain buildings and structures would be harder to replace.

Paradoxe : It was just a bamboo forest. No life was in danger at that time. -__- Or human structure at least.

The animation tho

So ruli called hiro to a cafe to vent, and then left with her friends leaving Hiro confused. First thing that comes to mind is that she likes to play with her food (potential love interest), leave them confused and at her mercy. And he was the first one she called for help...huh my first time thinking like shiptrash.
And Angoramon giving off that community leader energy.

Hm... not a bad episode, I guess we needed something like this to give Ruli and Angoramon more development as characters, guess its gonna take a couple more episodes till we see a new evolution but I don't mind the wait.

First 10 episode, great batch, and we are starting strong with this one too, 9 more to make it official

Anyway, I believe all of us thought Angoramon was gonna evolve here, but we didn’t get it, I will be lying if Im saying I wasn’t at least 1/10 mad about this, but this is still very good, I now get why we got Teslajellymon first and not Angoramon’s evolution, because we really see more... genuine moment between Kiyoshiro and Jellymon than Ruli’s pair, okay maybe not fully ‘genuine’ knowing jellymon, but it’s clear that they both have deeper bond than Ruli and angoramin before this, I think

And this episode really helped ruli to get a big step to get along with Angoramon

it’s better to bond first, so it’s both of you who've grown stronger, and not just one

I kinda did Angoramon’s wise sage speech thing there for a sec, but yeah, still going strong with this season right now, and I hope it stays that way
